"The school will have interest clubs in three directions: music, fine arts and choreography,” says Oleksandr Furkalo, head of the Buzivska AH. “We start with the brass band and the piano class, and then will gain momentum. We want our children to have all the opportunities for a comprehensive harmonious development. Already today, 37 children were enrolled in the school. We plan to issue graduating certificates to them.”

"This was envisaged by the Development Strategy of the Buzivska AH," says Hryhorii Pererva, adviser of the Cherkasy Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme. “Until recently, the children of the hromada traveled to Zhashkiv to study. However, the new financial realities, as well as the presence of hromada’s own qualified teachers, as well as high demand for art-related education from hromada residents, encouraged local authorities to review the existing situation. The issue of the effective use of own opportunities was considered during the meeting of the working group on the Strategy implementation. Then it was included in the Action Plan before being finally implemented by the hromada.”
