U-LEAD with Europe invites AHs from all corners of Ukraine to express their interest in hosting one of three DeHacks - hackathons for decentralisation in 2019.

As a host of a DeHack hackathon, you will meet software developers, graphic designers, experts of community development as well as civil society activists who have a strong interest in developing IT solutions for the benefit of your hromada. Potential topics for a DeHack hackathon are:

• citizen participation in decision-making processes at local level;
• new mechanisms of accountability of local authorities;
• solving environmental issues;
• encouraging public ideas and management complaints;
• support for the involvement of young people in hromada development;
• support inclusion of people with special needs in hromada development projects and into process of policy making and decision making.
