On December 11, Lviv oblast council adopted the Program of Support for the Cooperation of Hromadas in Lviv Oblast.

The main goal of the Program is to ensure the social and economic development of hromadas in Lviv oblast using the mechanism of cooperation between village, settlement, town hromadas as well as amalgamated hromadas. As part of this Program, an annual contest shall take place to select inter-municipal cooperation projects and training and consulting activities that will be additionally funded using the subvention from the oblast budget for municipal budgets.
