On 16 November, the second own pharmacy opened in the Shyrokivska amalgamated hromada located in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In October, the first one - the central one - was opened in the village of Volodymyrivske, which became the first and so far the only one of this kind in Ukraine. And by the end of the year another branch is planned to be launched at the outpatient clinic of Vidradne settlement. Since 2019, pharmacy branches are planned to be opened at hromadas’ outpatient clinics.

Lukasheve resident Hanna Syurmakova says that opening of the pharmacy is a significant long-awaited event for all residents of Lukasheve.

“Today, we have set a minimum margin of 11% for pharmacy promotion. Through this pharmacy, we will also implement the “Available Medicines” state programme to support our network,” remarks the AH head. “This is a social project, very much needed by people, but I would not like to subsidise it. The task is to reach zero. The maximum we agree on is to subsidise the salary of a pharmacist and a project manager”.
