Poland helps to develop voluntary firefighting movement in Rivne Oblast’s AHs

AHs of the Rivne Oblast participating in the project “Support of the organisation of the Ukrainian rescue volunteers in order to increase the level of safety of local population in the Rivne Oblast” received new modern equipment. This is reported by the Rivne Local Government Development Centre with reference to the Chief Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Rivne Oblast.

Addressing the heads of oblast’s AHs, General Marek Kowalski, head of the voluntary fire unit of the West Pomeranian Voivodship of the Republic of Poland, emphasised that the main goal of the project is to involve young people in the firefighting and rescuing activities.
