35 village councils accessed cities of oblast significance

The process of accession of rural and settlement hromadas to cities of oblast significance continues. 30 cities have already been able to establish partnerships with neighboring hromadas. Among them, 13 cities of oblast significance have already completed the procedures of accession of rural and settlement hromadas. This was reported by the Association of Ukrainian Cities.

According to the Association, 10 village and settlement councils accessed the city of Lozov; 5 village councils accessed the city of Rzhyshchiv; per 1 village and settlement council joined the cities of Voznesensk, Shostka, Nova Kakhovka, Novhorod-Siversky, Hadyach, Slavuta, Zhytomyr, and Novodnistrovsk; 5 village councils joined Berezan; Kolomyia was accessed by 4 village councils; and the city of Bucha was joined by 3 village councils.

Four cities, such as Vinnytsia, Novohrad-Volynskyi, Varash and Ternopil, and eight hromadas that are joining them, received positive conclusions from oblast state administrations.

Another 13 cities are in the process of completing formal procedures that will allow joining hromadas around.
