For the first time, representatives of enterprises of the oil and gas industry of the Poltava Oblast and leaders of amalgamated hromadas of the oblast met at one discussion platform. This was due to the initiative and organisational support of the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, during the Second Sectoral Forum “Social Partnership”, held in Poltava. Representatives of the Poltava Oblast State Administration, local self-government bodies, local regional development agencies, NGOs, deputies of the oblast council also took part in the Forum.
“The purpose of this event is to help establish cooperation between enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and AHs, where they operate,” said Oleksandr Isyp, decentralisation adviser of the Poltava LGDC, opening the Forum. The Forum consisted of four consecutive thematic discussion panels, during which they discussed the urgent issues of cooperation between the FEC enterprises and Poltava Oblast’s AHs. The panel discussion was moderated by Vadym Shtefan, regional development adviser of the Poltava LGDC.
