The organisational committee of the second regional forum “Neighbourhood Fair” has completed the acceptance of applications from AHs in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The participants of the contest are 176 projects from 43 hromadas representing 12 sections of the Decentralisation Strategy of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The best projects will be selected by the expert commission and through citizens’ vote, the award ceremony for the winners will take place on 26 September. This was reported by Olena Tertyshna, director of the Dnipropetrovsk LGDC established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
“We have received 176 projects, most of them refer to education (33 project applications), spatial development (41) and creative hromadas (23). 43 hromadas from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are participating in the contest. The leaders by the number of submitted applications are the Mezhivska, Krynychanska and Troyitska hromadas. The estimated funding volume of all implemented projects is equal to more than UAH 200 million”, said Olena Tertyshna.
