Mukachevo City Council supported accession of three rural hromadas

Deputies of the Mukachevo City Council unanimously supported the decision of the hromadas of the villages of Pavshyno, Nyzhniy Koropets and Lavky to join the city. Thus, they expressed their consent to the creation of the Mukachivska amalgamated hromada, informed Volodymyr Feskov, decentralisation adviser of the Zakarpattia LGDC, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.

The Mukachivska AH can become the first in the Zakarpattia Oblast, to be formed by accession of rural hromadas to a city of oblast significance.

In total, there are five cities of oblast significance: Mukachevo, Khust, Berehovo, Chop and Uzhgorod.
