At the session on 23 August, the deputies of the Vinnytsia City Council agreed to voluntary accession of Desna settlement hromada in the Vinnytsia Rayon to the hromada of the city of Vinnytsia. This is the first stage of the Vinnytsska AH formation.
In 2015 the hromada of the urban-type settlement of Desna, located in the suburbs of Vinnytsia, expressed its desire to join the oblast centre. Then there were public hearings held, where the village residents supported such an initiative.
Besides, at today's session the City Council deputies have decided to provide Desna settlement budget with a subvention for socio-economic development from the Vinnytsia city budget. It envisages allocation of UAH 250 thousand for road repairs.
