The Youth Council of the Horodnytska AH, together with local officials and Dmytro Klymenko, communications expert of the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre, started elaborating a youth community development programme.
“We should create conditions for the development and implementation of youth potential, otherwise we will lose it. Therefore, in the programme, we will focus on creating sites where one can learn, make, implement,” assured Hryhoriy Baram, Head of the Department of Economic Development, Trade, Investments and Government Procurement of the Horodnytska AH.
The process of the programme elaboration started at the training “Youth Community Development Programmes and Projects”, organised by the Zhytomyr LGDC, established by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme. At the training, the participants reviewed the existing youth policy programmes of other hromadas and developed a series of events, projects and ideas.
