The opening of the local fire brigade took place in Laskivtsi, Terebovlya Rayon.

A renovated local fire unit was opened in the village of Laskivtsi of the Terebovlyanska AH.

From now on, 9 firefighters, who have undergone a special training under the guidance of the Rescue Service specialists, will be on round-the-clock duty in the renovated fire depot. They will protect against emergencies not only Laskivtsi village, but also the nerby villages: Budaniv, Papirnya, Kobylovoloky, Romanivka, Stara and Nova Mohylnytsia.

The unit is located in a reconstructed building equipped with everything necessary for work and rest of the firefighters on duty. The fire brigade is equipped with a Peugeot-chassis firefighting vehicle and modern fire and rescue appliances for restoration and rescue operations, as well as protective masks, overalls and other equipment necessary for the purpose of performing tasks.

Over the past couple of years 35 local fire brigades have been launched in the Ternopil Oblast, currently helping to save human lives.
