Study tour of representatives of USAID DOBRE partner hromadas to Poland
Within 5 days, 24 representatives of amalgamated hromadas from 7 oblasts of Ukraine studied the Polish experience of providing municipal services. The study trip was organised with the support of the Polish partner – the Local Democracy Development Foundation within the framework of the Programme “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The participants of the tour had an opportunity to get acquainted with the successful cases of introduction of municipal services in 7 Polish gminas of Malopolskie Voivodeship and to see how the Polish residents exercise their civil rights.

Inspired by everything seen and heard, the study tour participants came back to apply the Polish experience in order to improve municipal services in their hromadas.
