After the adoption of the law, which simplifies the procedure for accession of neighbouring territories to cities of oblast significance, amalgamation processes have intensified in the Donetsk Oblast.

Vuhledar can become the first settlement to form an urban AH, having adjoined the rural territory around in accordance with the Perspective Plan.

At the extraordinary session of the Vuhledar City Council, the deputies agreed to voluntary accession of three village councils to the Vuhledarska hromada. Thus, seven villages will join the Vuhledarska hromada: Pavlivka, Bohoyavlenka, Stepne, Vodyane, Solodke, Taramchuk and Berezove.
