Podillya amalgamates – AHs of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi Oblasts signed memorandum of cooperation

On 22-23 May, the on-site seminar “Voluntary amalgamation of hromadas: realities, problems, prospects” took place in the Vinnytsia Oblast with the participation of the heads of local self-governments of the Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi Oblasts. The event was initiated by the Vinnytsia Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, together with the Association of Local Self-Government Bodies of the Vinnytsia Oblast and the Vinnytsia Oblast Council. The meeting was held with the assistance of the Vinnytsia Oblast State Administration.

The purpose of the seminar is to unite the efforts of two oblasts of central Ukraine in the processes of local self-government development, establishment of amalgamated hromadas on the territory of Podillya and their development.
