New remuneration conditions in local self-government bodies: Government resolution has come into force

On 18 May 2018, the “Uryadovyi Kurier” newspaper published a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 363 “On amendments to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 268 as of 9 March 2006” dated 10 May 2018. This resolution envisages increase of official salaries for officials and servants of local self-government bodies.

For example, the salary of the director of the city council department is planned to be increased by an average of 30%, that of the head of the independent directorate – by 27%, and that of a specialist – by 37%.

The draft amendments were elaborated by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
