We understand your needs, believe in you, we think you will develop our native Ukraine in future, said Ihor Zhdanov, Minister of Youth and Sports, appealing to more than 800 young people aged 15 to 18 from all over the country at the opening of the pro-active Summit "B.U.M. – Be willing. Upgrade. Motivate".
The event was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ukrainian Leadership Academy in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Kyiv Oblast State Administration, and supported by the USAID Program "Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency" (DOBRE).
Ihor Zhdanov confirmed that the Ministry will continue supporting such events. After all, according to the Minister, active and motivated youth needs to gain experience, improve skills and abilities.
"Be prepared to govern the state in a few years. We need decent, honest, competent managers, executives, officers, etc., in particular, to make our country stronger," the official said.
Summit of proactive citizens "B.U.M. – Be willing. Upgrade. Motivate" will be held from 2 to 4 May in Pushcha-Vodytsia on the basis of the International Children's Centre "Artek ".
