"We are among the few who decided to amalgamate not on the initiative of the authorities, but the residents, and have never regretted it," says Nataliya Ivashyna, head of the Ostrykivska amalgamated hromada. “We have more funds and opportunities. We, the hromada residents, manage education, healthcare and communal property ourselves. The quality of services for the population is improving – everything is nearby, everyone knows each other, and it is possible to focus more quickly on demands and needs of people."
