On Thursday, 22 February 2018, at 9AM an exhibition “Faces of New Hromadas” was opened in the hotel complex “Zolota Hora” (village of Barvinok, Uzhhorod Rayon). The exhibition is held in the framework of the forum “Zakarpattia Oblast – the centre of Europe: way of development and realisation of potential”.
The project was created Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre with the support of the USAID Decentralisation Offering Better Resuts and Efficiency (DOBRE) Programme.
The event was attended by Vyacheslav Nehoda, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Barry Reed, USAID DOBRE Programme Manager, Svitlana Spazheva, head of the Pokrovska amalgamated hromada (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), Ihor Dovirak, head of the Pechenizhynska amalgamated hromada (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast).
Vyacheslav Nehoda, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, commenting on the exhibition, said: “You see some fragments of the reform implementation. These are the results of work in AHs over the past three years as a result of decentralisation.”
