Within the framework of communication of the reform of local self-government and territorial organisation of power, the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralisation Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO) has planned a series of public discussions on decentralisation in the regions, as announced by the press service of the project.

DESPRO reported that in December the decentralisation debates will take place in the Krasnokutsk Rayon of the Kharkiv Oblast. To organise the discussion, the project cooperates closely with MinRegion, the Krasnokutsk Rayon State Administration, Kharkiv Oblast Council, and Kharkiv Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.

According to Oksana Harnets, head of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralisation Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO), the Krasnokutsk Rayon is one of 17 rayons of the Kharkiv Oblast with no amalgamated hromadas established so far.
