Amalgamated hromadas now face an important task of planning their development, investing, and providing jobs. This topic was discussed during the two-day seminar “Summing up the 2016-2017 results of decentralisation in the Odesa Oblast”, held on 6-7 February by the Odesa Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion. Yuliya Molodozhen, Director of the Odesa LGDC, told the “Dumska TV” channel about the process of hromadas’ amalgamation, strategies for their development and potential opportunities, as well as what needs to be done now, in order to lay the prospects for the future.
