What impact will tax legislation innovations have on local budgets?

Clarifications on the main aspects of the amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine in 2018 in terms of local budgets were prepared by Yanina Kazyuk, financial decentralisation coordinator, and Viktor Ventsel, expert of the Financial Monitoring Group of the Central Reform Office under MinRegion (with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme).

In particular, the experts explain what innovations taxpayers will face and how these changes will affect local budgets.

It is worth reminding that on 7 December 2017, together with the adoption of the 2018 State Budget, amendments to the Budget and Tax Codes were approved. Decentralisation.gov.ua published a separate review of the experts of the Financial Monitoring Group of the Central Reform Office under MinRegion (with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and SKL International project) on the changes to the Budget Code .
