The list of first five amalgamated hromadas, which in 2017 elaborated and approved their territorial development strategies for 3 years, was formed in the Sumy Oblast. The pioneers include the Boromlyanska AH of the Trostyanets Rayon, the Krasnopilska and Myropilska AHs of the Krasnopillya Rayon, the Mykolayivska and Khotinska AHs of the Sumy Oblast.

The main form of work on draft documents was the holding of working groups’ meetings with participation of Hryhoriy Starykov, regional development adviser of the Sumy Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
