1+1 TV Channel and DOBRE Programme announced winner of hromadas‘ flashmob

The 1+1 TV Channel together with the DOBRE Programme of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), have recently launched a flashmob for proactive Ukrainians and hromadas seeking to improve their lives in their country, region, town or settlement.

To take part in the flashmob one had to make a video to reveal the idea of ​​improving the urban amenities or disclosing the economic potential of the region. Ukrainians or hromadas having their projects already implemented could equally present them. The video story had to be posted on a social network webpage with hashtags #hromadas.

The winner was chosen by the representatives of the 1+1 Channel and the USAID DOBRE Programme among several hundreds of videos received. The victory was gained by the Skala-Podilska amalgamated hromada, that introduced a project for the production of bottled water from local mineral springs. In addition, the hromada is actively engaged in the improvement of its region. They repair roads, open youth centres and gyms.
