The “I’m the Community” Information Campaign for Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts

The United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine, with financial support from the European Union, is carrying out a new initiative to support the decentralization reform.

As part of its programme, UNDP in October 2017 will conduct the “I’m the Community” information campaign in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The goal of the project is to raise the awareness of the region's residents about the positive changes and results of decentralization reform, explain the essence of the reform, and encourage all stakeholders – the local authorities, NGOs, business, media and active citizens - to take part in the reform. The campaign will present the best practices and experiences of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, as well as those of other parts of Ukraine, bringing authoritative expert opinions to the target audience. The aim is to form a conscious and informed positive attitude to the unification of communities.
