22 communities will receive support from UNDP

We are happy to announce that recently launched UNDP Project “Sustainable local development in rural areas of Chernivtsi and Odesa oblasts” financed by the Austrian Development Agency has already selected communities for participation!

Based on the competition 7 rayons with 1 one reserve rayon in Chernivtsi and 6 rayons with 1 reserve rayon in Odesa will participate in the project. A special selection commission from UNDP/ADA Project and oblast level representatives, upon detailed analysis based on special evaluation indicators (such as level of socio-economic development, access to basic public services, commitment of the village, small town council/ATC Council to cooperate and past performance, geographical location, project document requirements, etc.) and consultation with the regional authorities, came up with the final list of potential stakeholders.
