The budget decentralisation is gaining pace. Over the period from January to July, UAH 77.8 billion (net of transfers) were received by the local budgets. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, we have an increment in the amount of UAH 25.4 billion. It was so reported today by Vice-Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko.

"These are not just figures but actual projects. These are the funds which are now channelled by the communities to the development of infrastructure, construction and renovation of kindergartens and schools, hospitals, roads, etc. This is the actual resource for the communities to resolve their problems. That is the evidence of efficiency and irreversibility of the decentralisation reform", emphasised Hennadii Zubko.
