The Government has lifted restrictions on travelling abroad for a specific category of female officials during martial law. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this.
‘From now on, female officials of state authorities, local governments, state-owned enterprises, and other defined entities will be able to cross the border without additional restrictions,’ noted the Prime Minister.
The changes do not apply to the highest-ranking state officials, key heads of state bodies and their deputies, including members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the leadership of ministries and central executive bodies, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Security and Defence Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Bank, as well as to Members of Parliament, judges of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General, and heads of state-owned enterprises and state bodies whose jurisdiction extends across the entire territory of Ukraine. For them, the rules remain unchanged to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the state.
