On 18 December, the U-RESTORE project team will hold an online presentation on Zoom to introduce the project and its opportunities for territorial communities in Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr oblasts.

U-RESTORE is a six-year initiative implemented by a consortium of organizations — ISAR Ednannia and the Ukrainian Women’s Fund — led by Cowater International and funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC).

The project aims to support Ukraine’s recovery processes by strengthening community resilience, introducing transparent and inclusive solutions, and engaging residents in decision-making. A special focus is placed on the needs of women and vulnerable groups to ensure fair, inclusive, and sustainable recovery.

During the online presentation, participants will learn about the community selection criteria, opportunities for support in recovery planning, identifying priority needs, and involving residents in decision-making processes. The U-RESTORE team will also introduce the project’s implementation stages and forms of cooperation that can help local authorities strengthen their capacity in strategic development.

U-RESTORE offers communities the opportunity to receive expert support, access modern approaches to recovery planning, and use tools for effective resident engagement.
