On April 19, the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 Cross-Border Cooperation Program announced the winners that will receive funding for environmental projects. As a result, six USAID HOVERLA Activity partner communities from Lviv, Rivne, and Volyn Oblasts will be able to implement the projects for EUR 5 million.
Here are the projects which the communities plan to implement in partnership with Polish municipalities:
To prepare communities for the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 competition, the USAID HOVERLA Activity conducted a series of trainings during 2023 - 2024. This March, 40 communities learned how to prepare efficient applications.

HOVERLA supports the Ministry of Restoration’s efforts in enhancing the capacity of communities in attracting funding, building international partnerships, economic development, and improving the quality of life for their residents.
