The Government Will Recognize Communities as Capable Should the Regional Council Fails to Do So

On 2 February 2016, the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine adopted, in the first reading, a draft law allowing the consolidated communities to timely obtain effective funds.

Following the adoption of this draft law, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will be able to recognize the consolidated territorial communities as compliant with the Prospective Plan of Formation of Territories of the Communities should the Region Council fails to do so within one month period.

This will enable all capable communities to timely receive effective resource provision.
