The cities of Kupiansk and Pruszcz Gdański, Poland, established sisterly relations.

The memorandum on cooperation was signed by Andrii Besedin, Head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration, and Janusz Wróbel, Mayor of Pruszcz Gdański.

“This is a very important occasion for the entire Kupiansk municipality. This is a memorandum of true friendship between twin cities. I firmly believe that only together we can make our cities truly European," said Andrii Besedin.

Participants of the International Summit of Cities and Regions, which was held in Kyiv on April 20 and brought together municipalities from more than 50 countries, declared their readiness to join efforts to help in building a peaceful, democratic and prosperous future, to contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in Ukraine to ensure international security and stability of the entire world.
