Over 250 Ukrainian municipalities have undertaken to reduce emission as signatories of the Agreement of Mayors. In 2021 in some cities of Ukraine action plans of sustainable energetic development and climate were developed jointly by local self-government bodies and public organisations. This cooperation turns out to be fruitful in terms of unexpected decisions and approaches.

Online-discussion participants will try to find answers to such questions:

• How and why should municipalities involve all interested parties in developing a climate constituent of action plans of sustainable energetic development and climate?
• How to prepare a quality climate constituent of action plans of sustainable energetic development and climate?
• Which nature targeted decisions can be implemented in municipalities?
• How will the national adjustment strategy influence the local level and will it assist local self-government bodies in implementing their climate and adjustment plans?
