Barrier-free space development and training and practice centre creation in educational establishments – the Government has approved subvention allotment for local budgets

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved UAH 1 billion subvention allotment for local budgets for the purpose of fulfilling the programme «Capable School for Better Results».

According to Prime-Minister Denys Shmyhal, funds within the programme will be aimed at the projects targeted to education support in regions.

«These are the initiatives, related to forming barrier-free space and organizing healthy meals. Of course, they cover school repairs and educational establishment canteen upgrade. So far, in cooperation with oblast state administrations and people’s deputies, over 500 projects, aimed at improving conditions for the proper educational process», — claimed the Government Head.
