At its second meeting the Committee on Education and Science has recommended the Parliament to pass in a second reading bill № 4629-1 on peculiarities of forming a network of lyceums.

According to the document author, people’s deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Koleboshyn, the bill includes several significant norms.

So, now any municipality, capable of it, can establish a specialized lyceum. Prior to the document, only oblast or town councils with the population of more than 50 thousand used to be able to do it.
