The local self-government and territorial power arrangement reform is of strategic significance for Ukraine. It was emphasized by the Prime-Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during his meeting with Georg Milbradt, Special Envoy of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Ukrainian reform in the areas of governance and decentralization.

Denys Shmyhal underlined that the reform is based on the provisions of the European Charter of Local Self-Government and the best world experience of public relations in the sphere.

«The reform has already proved to be efficient in terms of improving the public services quality and bringing them closer to the municipality residents», — claimed the Government Head.
