The National Public Service Agency initiates a discussion of a bill on the local self-government service

Initiated by the NPSA, there was held a meeting of the working group, drafting a new wording of the Law of Ukraine On the Local Self-Government Service

During the first meeting the NPSA Head Natalya Alyushyna represented the Agency’s groundwork to be discussed, which will form the basis for the new wording of the Law of Ukraine On the Local Self-Government Service.

«For the NPSA the issue of the local self-government service is a key one, so both the lawmaking work plan of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the 2021 Government priorities plan involve submitting the Government bill On the Local Self-Government Service in its new wording to the Parliament in September, 2021. Thus, our aim is to create an efficient document to assist the local self-government in establishing powerful and professional staff. In addition, we have to ensure congruence of laws of Ukraine On the Local Self-Government Service and On the Public Service. Transition between these two services must be logical and fair», – said Natalya Alyushyna.
