On April, 15, the meeting of the Council of National Security and Defense, headed by the President of Ukraine, occurred, where the state regional policy measures, aimed at decentralization support, were discussed.

The Secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense Oleksiy Danilov emphasized that decentralisation in Ukraine «is a fundamental factor of state formation and human capital assets development, living standard improvement in 1421 territorial hromadas, having emerged following the 2020 autumn local elections».
