Almost 450 police officers have been trained to serve in territorial hromadas in Ukraine

The Hromada Police Officer project was initiated in 2018 and started on May, 29, 2019. Then 34 hromada police officers began their service in 22 hromadas of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently almost 450 polece officers serve 3, 5 million residents in 3 364 population clusters, i.e. in 273 hromadas.

The Hromada Police Officer project involves a responsible police officer in each hromada. The officer ensures law and order within a hromada and actively participates in the hromada life, living on its territory.

You can get additional information on the project at the Hromada Police Officers Facebook-page or address the Administration of Hromadas Cooperation of the Department of Preventive Activity of the National Police of Ukraine, police senior lieutenant Yaroslava Kramarenko, tel. 067 284 72 00, tcpo.ukraine@gmail.com.
