“For five years the resource basis of the local self-government bodies has quadrupled”, - claimed Denys Ulyutin, the first deputy Minister of Finances of Ukraine.

Within the local budgets structure local taxes and fees are on average up to 35%, the rest of the incomes accounts for the state taxes and fees.

The Ministry of Finances of Ukraine is sure that due to implementing a new model of inter-budgetary relations, a middle-term budget planning both at the state and local levels, an efficient taxes and fees administration, a new administrative and territorial arrangement of the basic and sub-regional levels the share of such incomes will be up to 70%in three years.
