Lectures of Decentralisation Academy: free online course “Small Business in AH. Mission Possible!”

The Association of Ukrainian Cities has announced the launch of the Decentralisation Academy’s Lectures training programme, which will prepare online courses for local governments and be placed on the Moodle educational platform https://olimp.oa.edu.ua/. Training is free of charge.

“Lectures of the Decentralisation Academy” were initiated by the Association of Ukrainian Cities in the framework of the USAID Policy for Ukraine Local Self-Governance (PULSE), implemented in partnership with the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX in Ukraine) and in cooperation with the National University of Ostroh Academy.

On 21 November, the course “Small Business in AH. Mission is possible!” was launched.

It trains how to start a business in a hromada, where to start, where to find inspiration, how to become a private entrepreneur, and what the connection between hromada development and business development is. It describes in detail all the stages, from the idea to the implementation, giving examples of successful practices of other hromadas. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the basics of their own business within the framework of the current legislation and the operation of market mechanisms.

Online course “Small Business in AH. Mission Possible!” is available at the link. Please get acquainted with the Guidelines.
