On 20-21 November 2019, Kyiv (103 Stolychne Shose St., Ramada Encore Kyiv) will host the third DOBRE Strategic Development and Investment Conference. The event will traditionally serve as a platform to discuss how to engage and motivate a potential investor, choose the right investment strategy and raise the investment attractiveness of amalgamated hromadas.

The event is organised by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) programme together with Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre.

The conference will be attended by 400 participants, including representatives of 75 AHs, investment funds, financial institutions, large and local businesses, international technical assistance projects, central and regional authorities. The event will focus on exchange of views on hromadas’ capacity development, discussion of land reform, investment and tourism potential of hromadas and opportunities for its development, dialogue between investors and representatives of amalgamated hromadas, search for solutions to accelerate local economic development.

For the first time this year, the organisers have provided extra seats for the representatives of hromadas that are not DOBRE programme parters. The opening of the two-day Strategic Development and Investment Conference will be held at 10:00 am in the conference hall of the Ramada Encore Hotel Complex (103, Stolychne Shose, Kyiv).
