“The priority areas of activity of the Ministry of Hromadas and Territories’ Development continue to be decentralisation and regional development, energy efficiency, housing and communal services, architecture and construction. Implementation of the digitisation block is one of the innovations, and this applies to all ministries. It is one of the top priorities of the new Government and Prime Minister of Ukraine. It is also extremely important given the functionality of the ministry involved in maintaining various electronic registries and implementing e-services,” emphasised Aliona Babak, newly appointed Minister of Hromadas and Territories’ Development, at the Ministry’s operational meeting.
According to her, the priority tasks include development of a route map of tasks to the new Government's Action Programme, submission of urgent decisions for consideration at the nearest CMU meeting, elaboration of prospects for the development of each department of the Ministry in view of new tasks.
The Minister also informed that today the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will host a meeting on renaming the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, and its further reorganisation.
