On 6 August, the Hlodosy and Novomykolayivka village councils of the Novoukrayinka Rayon held sessions to make a final decision on amalgamation into a territorial hromada with an administrative centre in the village of Hlodosy. Deputies of the village councils unanimously supported amalgamation, as reported by the Kirovohrad Local Government Development Centre of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
“We welcome another hromada formed in the Kirovohrad Oblast. Having made the decision on amalgamation, the territory assumed responsibility for the development of the amalgamated hromada and the future of its residents,” said Oleh Yaremenko, Director of the Kirovohrad LGDC.
