Take everything from the sun. This is the work principle of stations that convert pure solar energy into electricity. The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has almost 40 “green facilities” and it's about to put another one in operation – in the Shyroke Rayon.

“The power plant occupies 21 hectares of land. The net energy of the sun is collected and accumulated by 23 thousand panels with a total capacity of 7 MW. They are capable of providing light to the entire Shyroke Rayon,” said Yuriy Zasyadvovk, director of the Ekotekhnik Shyroke company.

The “green project” worth 8.5 million euros is inplemented jointly by the French and Czech investors. It is said that investments in the sun energy, which are not exhausted, are effective. The Shyroke Rayon was chosen not by chance: a high level of solar radiance is observed here.
