Malovyskivska AH became the first amalgamated hromada in the Kirovohrad Oblast. For almost 4 years of its existence, it has shown incredible results. City mayor Yuriy Guldas conducted a tour for the journalists, and told about AH’s successes and problems.

The hromada was formed on 14 August 2015. It includes 10 settlements with more than 13 thousand residents. The AH budget in 2018 amounted to UAH 48 million 675 thousand.

According to the Mayor Yuriy Guldas, the hromada has never regretted its decision to amalgamate.

We are more inclined to the development of tourism and work on the “Kudashevs’ Estate” project. Oleksandr Kudashev was born on our territory, the city's brand is tied to aircraft construction.

Over 4 years, due to state subvention allocated for hromada development, 14 projects were implemented in the AH with a total cost of more than UAH 10 million: water supply networks were reconstructed, facades fully renovated and the territory of two kindergartens arranged, energy-saving technologies were introduced in the Children and Youth Centre “Vys”, the former building of Pervomaisk School was reconstructed and a Citizen Activity Centre created.

The Malovyskivska AH has active public organisations that have already implemented 6 projects for a sum of more than UAH 200 thousand.

The hromada develops the educational sector: repairs the premises of schools and kindergartens, creates inclusive classrooms and implements the New Ukrainian School concept.

Despite significant achievements, the AH still has a number of problems that are gradually being solved. According to Yuriy Guldas, the most urgent issue is connected with re-registration of enterprises, located on the AH territory and other settlements.

A modern park with thematic recreation areas: children's playgrounds, fountains, a tree house, interesting art objects, was arranged in Mala Vyska.

#2 Children and Youth Centre “Vys”

Here energy-saving technologies were introduced, and windows replaced.
