Ukrainian Radomyshl and Slovenian Velenje signed Letter of Intent for cooperation

Visiting the Municipality of Velenje in Slovenia, Volodymyr Teterskyi, mayor of Radomyshl, signed the Letter of Intent for cooperation between Radomyshl and Velenje. The two municipalities agreed to start cooperation in the areas of energy efficiency, development of renewable energy and other fields of local development that are relevant for both parties.

The signing of this document took place within the framework of an international study visit organized by the "Energy Efficiency in Hromadas II" Project implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.

It is worth mentioning that this is the third study visit of the hromadas from the Zhytomyr Oblast to Slovenia, organized by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme in 2019.
