Four months of work were enough for the newly formed Vilshanska AH to show the benefits of decentralisation to neighbouring villages. Powers and resources for their implementation create conditions for change in the hromada and activise population. This is a key advantage of the reform.

This was discussed in the Village of Kilky, Chudniv Rayon, at the meeting of the village initiative group with Serhii Romanovych, decentralisation advisor of the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre, established by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion of Ukraine. The expert told about the benefits of amalgamation and successes their neighbours from the Vilshanska AH have already achieved.
