The general meeting of the Association of Amalgamated Hromadas will take place in Kyiv on 21 February 2019.

Agenda of the event includes a panel discussion on “Reform of local self-government and territorial organisation of power. New stage. Challenges and prospects.”

In addition, the Association of AHs will sum up the results of its activities during 2018, as well as approve a new composition of its Council and sign memoranda on cooperation with a number of central executive authorities.

The event will be attended by:

• about 300 heads of amalgamated hromadas,
• Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman,
• Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine,
• Serhiy Vlasenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of Ukraine,
• Anatoliy Tkachuk, Director on Science and Development of the Civil Society Institute,
• Serhii Chernov, President of the Ukrainian Association of Rayon and Oblast Councils,
• Mykola Fursenko, Head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Village and Settlement Councils,
• representatives of international technical assistance programmes,
• experts.
