The Chernivtsi Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, presented development strategies of the Vashkivetska, Volokivska, Hlybotska, Tereblechenska and Nedoboyivska AHs, elaborated in 2018. In course of the year, together with the Oblast State Administration experts, the Chernivtsi LGDC has developed investment passports of hromadas, designed to facilitate communication between hromadas and potential investors.
Summing up the results of 2018, Tetyana Tatarchuk, Director of the Chernivtsi LGDC, noted that there are 271 hromadas in the oblast, 118 of which have already formed 33 AHs. And this is 43%, while the area of AHs also makes up 43% of the total area of the oblast. Currently 330 thousand people or 36.5% of the total population of Bukovyna live in AHs.
